Patient Liaison Recruiter

Director of Business Development
Job Summary:

The primary focus of the Patient Liaison Recruiter (PLR) is to assist with study volunteer recruitment for all enrolling studies. The PLR will provide support functions for the Research Coordinators and Clinical Assistants. PLR will play a critical role in building a database of willing and qualified study volunteers.

Duties Include but are not limited to:
  • Responsible for recruiting subjects for all enrolling studies 
  • Communicate with potential subjects and schedule appointments for screening visits 
  • Request medical records of potential and current research participants 
  • Identify potential volunteers by reviewing medical records 
  • Utilize proper phone and email etiquette to liaison with referring physicians 
  • Establish a working relationship with the Clinic Team 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Effective participant as a team member 
  • Strong follow through skills and ability to proactively identify and solve problems 
  • Must have strong communication skills 
  • Must meet recruitment scheduling goals 
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel 
  • Clinical Conductor (preferred) 
  • Familiar with CRM programs (preferred) 
Education and Experience
  • Clinical research or medical experience preferred 
  • Familiarity with medical terminology 
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects at a time 
  • Additional languages encouraged 
  • High School, GED and/or some college
